Applications |
Abamectin is an insecticide and acaricide - It acts upon contact and ingestion - It possesses limited systemic activity in plants but demonstrates translaminar movement. - It is commonly employed to manage mobile stages of mites, leaf miners, suckers, Colorado beetles, and other pests - It is effective to protect ornamentals, cotton, citrus fruit, pome fruit, nut crops, vegetables, potatoes, and various other crops. The recommended application rates for abamectin range from 5.6 to 28 g/ha for mite control and 11 to 22 g/ha for leaf miner control. Additionally, it is utilized for the eradication of fire ants. However, when combined with captan, abamectin may exhibit phytotoxic effects on pome fruit. |
