Function and Characteristics	Chlorflurenol is stemporary inhibitor of auxin that slows the growth and senescence of plant, also slowing its flowering, fruiting and maturation. Application in fruit trees and gardens can inhibit the apical dominace, promote branching. Increased dose, it has a greater inhibition of plant growth, weeds growth can be prevented. Chlorflurenol can be absorbed through the stems and leaves, and conducted by phloem and xylem up and down in the plant. The mitosis of apical meristems can be inhibited due to the high content of Chlorflurenol i young tissue. Then inhibiting internodal elongation, reducing the leaf area, hinder the downward conduction of auxin, weakening the Apical dominance and promoting the growth of lateral buds, and inhibit lateral root formation, induce unisexual fruiting.
Application	Potato: with 1-10mg/kg Chlorflurenol solution spray, can control the growth of its aboveground parts, promote rapid expansion of underground tubers, increase potato yield. Peach, apply: after flowering stage 7 days, with 40-6-mg/L solution spray flower, peach coloring, improve peach quality. Pear:mid-May, 10mg/L solution sprayed plant top, can inhibit the growth of top branch.
