| Introduction | Dimethoate, whose chemical name is O,O-dimethyl-S-(N-methylcarbamoylmethyl) phosphorodithioate, has a molecular formula of C5H12NO3PS2, and is a common organophosphorus pesticide. Dimethoate can infiltrate the plant to maintain its efficacy for about a week. Mouse oral LD50 is 156.3mg/kg, transdermal LD50 is 700-1150mg/kg, and intraperitoneal injection LD50 is 184mg/kg.
