Uses |
To reduce internode elongation, to produce more compact plants. It has activity on a wide range of glasshouse plant species and is effective on most plants when applied to either foliage or soil. Foliar application rates for bedding plants 6 to 66 ppm, for bedding plant plugs 3-35 ppm, for flowering/foliage plants 20-50 ppm, for bulb crops 25-50 ppm. |

Oral: Acute oral LD50 for rats 5000 mg/kg. Skin and eye: Acute percutaneous LD50 for rabbits >200 mg/kg. Moderate eye irritant; mild skin irritant (rabbits). Inhalation: LC50 (4 h) in rats: no deaths (poor grooming) at 5.6 mg/l air. |
